What do I need to complete the application?
- Issued LEI code for the legal entity

Meetings required
Two meetings are required and will be scheduled by the Global vLEI Onboarding Team.
Meeting 1 · 10 minutes — DAR (Signatory)
- Signatory (DAR) verifies ID
- Signs Designation of Authority (Scrive)
Meeting 2 · 30 minutes — LARs (Administrators)
- Administrators (LARs) verify ID
- Create Cloud Wallets
- Issue Legal Entity credential
Client: Application Process
- Add your company email address to start the vLEI application.
- Submit the verification code. The system sends the code instantly to that email address.
- Enter the Legal Entity name to find the required LEI code.
- The LEI must be ISSUED and remain in ISSUED status.
- Add information for the signatory (DAR).
- Enter the name exactly as shown on the official ID document.
- Enter the email address.
- Upload a copy of the passport or national ID (PDF preferred).
- Upload proof of authority for the signatory.
- Add information for the administrators (LARs).
- Provide three administrators. A sole proprietorship may provide one administrator.
- For each administrator, enter the name exactly as shown on the official ID document.
- For each administrator, enter the email address.
- For each administrator, upload a copy of the passport or national ID (PDF preferred).
- Add invoice information and ensure all fields are complete.
- Review the application and submit.
After submission
- You receive a confirmation email.
- Please look out for emails from the Global vLEI team. We will contact you regarding your application and to schedule the required onboarding meetings.
Client: Your application; What happens next?
- We confirm that the Legal Entity has an ISSUED LEI code.
- We will reach out with instructions if this pre‑requisite is not met.
- We confirm that a signatory (DAR) is named. We review the ID and proof of authority documents.
- We confirm that three administrators (LARs) are named. We review the ID documents for each person.
- If we need clarifications or additional documents to complete your application, we contact the applicant email.
- We ensure that all documents are in good order before arranging any onboarding meetings.
- We email the applicant contact to confirm the application and arrange the signatory meeting.
- Meeting 1 (10 minutes) — signatory (DAR) attends. Show identification in the meeting and sign the Designation of Authority form via Scrive. This confirms the names of the administrators.
- We complete meeting 1 with the signatory of the Legal Entity.
- We email the applicant contact to arrange the administrators meeting.
- Meeting 2 (30 minutes) — administrators (LARs) attend. Show identification, create Cloud Wallets, and issue the Legal Entity credential.
- We complete meeting 2 with all three administrators in attendance. We create Cloud Wallets and complete challenge questions to create the Legal Entity group.
- We issue the Legal Entity credential.
