What do I need to complete the application?
- ISSUED LEI code for the Legal Entity

- No LEI or LAPSED LEI Code? No problem! You can handle this here:
- Company email address
- 1 Signatory is required (DAR)
- 3 Administrators are required (LARs)
- Only 1 LAR is required if Legal Entity is a Sole Proprietorship
- Passport or National ID card for all participants (DAR & LARs)
- Proof of Authority also required for DAR only such as Board Minutes confirming the authority of the DAR to sign on behalf of the Legal Entity

Meetings required
2 meetings are required and will be scheduled by the Global vLEI Onboarding Team.
Meeting 1: Signatory only to attend, show identification, sign Designation of Authority Form; which confirms the names of the Administrators via Scrive. Est. 10 minutes
Meeting 2: All named administrators attendance only; show identification, create Cloud Wallet and issue LE credential. Est. 30 minutes

Client: Application Process
- Applicant will add their company email address to start the vLEI application
- Submit the verification code; sent instantly to the email address
- Enter the Legal Entity Name to find the required LEI code
- LEI must be ISSUED and remain in an ISSUED status
- Applicant to add information for the Signatory (DAR)
- Name to be added as recorded on official ID document
- Email address to be provided
- Provide copy of Passport/National ID (PDF preferred)
- Provide proof of authority for the Signatory
- Applicant to add information for the 3 Administrators (LARs): Only 1 administrator is required if Legal Entity is a Sole Proprietorship)
- Names to be added as recorded on official ID document for each administrator
- Email addresses for each administrator to be provided
- Provide copy of Passport/National ID (PDF preferred) for each administrator
- Add invoice information; ensuring all fields are completed
- Review the application & Submit
Applicant will then receive a confirmation email. Please look out for emails from our Global vLEI team, who will contact you regarding your application and to schedule the required Onboarding meetings.
Client: Your application; What happens next?
Our Global vLEI team will take the following steps to review each application;
- Confirm that the Legal Entity has an ISSUED LEI code
- We will reach out with instructions if this pre-requisite is not met
- Confirm there is a Signatory Name in the application and review the ID and Proof of Authority documents
- Confirm that 3 administrators have been included in the application and review the ID documents for each person
- If our team requires further clarifications or documents to complete your application, they will contact the applicant email to request these.
- Our Team will ensure that all documents are in good order prior to arranging any Onboarding Meetings.
- Email the applicant contact, to confirm the application and arrange the Signatory Meeting
- Meeting 1: Signatory only to attend, show identification in the meeting, sign Designation of Authority Form; which confirms the names of the Administrators via Scrive. Est. meeting time: 10 minutes
- Complete Meeting 1, with the Signatory of the Legal Entity
- Email the applicant contact, to arrange the Administrators Meeting
- Meeting 2: All named administrators attendance only; show identification, create Cloud Wallet and issue LE credential. Estimated meeting time: 30 minutes
- Complete Meeting 2, with all 3 Administrators in attendance. Create Cloud Wallets, complete challenge questions to create the Legal Entity Group.
- Legal Entity Credential issued.
